The home is designed around a central courtyard, with a strong symmetrical approach, conceptually capturing the view on your approach, as if standing at the viewfinder of a camera.

 

The building steps, hugging the landscape and creating volume and openness with the slope of the western ridge at Benguela Cove. The spaces open to the views to the north and west and shelter from the wind is created by the central courtyard, offering a variety of living options to each space. The basement engages with the rest of the house by its volume extending to first floor level with views into the pool from below, in the cinema room.
